Most guided trips are booked in advance, some a year or more, and secured with a deposit. Spring steelhead, fall salmon, fall steelhead and early summer streamer /dry fly dates are the most sought after. For this reason, many dates are booked and secured 3-6+ months in advance.

To ensure the best personal attention and instruction, we accept a preferred two anglers per guide/boat (exceptions are rare, but will be considered - 3 person salmon/steelhead trips - $ 475/day). The daily fee covers a full day on the river (around 8 hours)., non-alcoholic beverages, a grilled streamside meal and use of top quality equipment.
We do not include flies for salmon and steelhead trips.  Either purchase before you arrive, at a local fly shop if available or from your guide.   One dozen "assortment" fly packs are available for $ 15/dozen from your guide.
The fee does not include gratuities or a Michigan fishing license.  Online license purchasing available by clicking here.  Just a note on guide gratuities: A gratuity (tip) is tradition in the fly fishing world. "A good ghillie gets a bump at the end of a good day fishing". The guidelines for the "bump" is between 15 to 20 percent or more per day. Remember a gratuity is for good service, not piles of fish.
